Last week, the National Portable Storage Association released an announcement urging residents and businesses along the Gulf Coast to prepare for an active season by reserving ahead of time, portable storage devices in case of damage to houses. For businesses, portable storage containers can help to increase the level of preparedness for business continuity planning and post-disaster recovery efforts. John Finnessy, CMP, Executive Director of the National Portable Storage Association said in the press release, "The NPSA recommends businesses put a preparation place in place now, which for some companies includes reserving portable storage units." Additionally, Joel Rathbone, NPSA operations manager said, "Portable storage containers have proven to be an important asset in the wake of storms."(Click below to download file) regional-disaster-guide.pdf
