Orlando bus drivers to receive anti-terror training | 06.27.2007 | 09:32:03 | Views: 5515 | ID: June 27 '07: In Central Florida, a federal Homeland Security grant totaling almost $1 million will go toward training the LYNX busline employees to help train them to spot potential terrorists and criminals, the Orlando Sentinel reported. The training will take place this summer and it will incorporate all 1,000 employees of LYNX. In addition to the training, the transportation line also has implemented a Transportation Emergency Action Response plan which was designed to help LYNX passengers as well as employees. The new training program also will coordinate local law enforcement agencies, Linda Watson, the corporate executive officer of LYNX told the Sentinel.
